My coax come right out of the ONT box on the side of the house and into a

splitter that feeds the rooms through the house. On one of those feeds I again split it, with one coax going to the fios cable box (stb) and the other going to the same type of router mentioned. I have an older home so I dont have ethernet inside wiring, so if that is the case, I am not sure.
