Some observations:
1) ND is in a stretch where they have one true road game (in Blacksburg) in a 10-week stretch. They only play 4 total road games with 7 home games and an additional game in Chicago (against Wisconsin). They opened at FSU and close at Stanford. The only road games in-between are VT and UVa.
2) It would take a miracle for ND to make the playoffs. If you look at Massey's composite ratings, ND has not and will not play any teams in the Top 33 except for Cincinnati. The only hope that ND has is to win out and hope that their top opponents (Wisconsin, USC or Stanford, VT or UNC) somehow win their conferences.
3) According to Ourlads, ND has 20 seniors/grads in their 2-deep. We have 3.
4) This is the fourth time in six years that we play ND. We won't play them again until 2027. We will only play them twice in the next 11 seasons. We have only played FSU four times during the regular season since joining the ACC in 2004. We've only played latecomer Syracuse (joined in 2013) once so far as an ACC member.
