Fall is when they can take more difficult classes

As we can see the travel for softball can be a little crazy in the spring, so if there is a particular difficult in-major class I’m sure they want to take it in the fall vs spring.
Plus the fall practice schedule is much smaller/shorter vs spring, so if a certain class or lab is only offered when practice would normally be in the spring (late afternoon or early evening), once again fall is when they might do this. Easier to miss or mess around with fall schedule vs class vs in season practice and games.
