If C-USA and the Sunbelt agree to regionalize
C-USA could give the Sunbelt UTEP, Lousiana Tech, and Southern Mississippi. Sunbelt could give C-USA Georgia State, Coastal Carolina, and Appalachian State. Then C-USA could add Liberty and UMass.
This would put C-USA just down 1 member after losing 6. To get the last one they could work on JMU and Delaware, whose stadiums qualify for FBS. They could also work on Stony Brook and Delaware, who would have to upgrade their stadiums about 5000 seats.
If they did this C-USA would be Mass to Florida down the east coast and Tennessee and Kentucky. Sunbelt would be Georgia over to Texas with Alabama, Mississippi, and Lousiana teams. Basically the Sunbelt. This would accomplish what C-USA was looking to do. They would be basically in the ACC footprint. Sunbelt would be in the SEC footprint.
