But that's the Plus. My son actually played two college water polo tournaments that were on ESPN+. Talk about amateur hour. They called D by another player's name on his big highlight play before correcting themselves right before his penalty shot. Then they dogged him for taking a shot the next day which was absolutely the right move but later did give him recognition for redemption and bringing energy/pumping the crowd. I realize water polo is a very hard game to understand much less call.

I think the Plus is where aspiring announcers build their chops and make their mistakes. I was surprised to see seasoned vets like Levy kind of caught in that mess. I can't wait to see Joe B, Locker, Alexa, Smokin' Al, May Day, and Brent Johnson (my neighbor), in the studio again.
