If I recall he got injured and upset at his state tournament his senior year in high school. He was #1 ranked on Flo at his weight class going into that tourney. Something has not been the same. Possibly injury? Anyone know for certain (if it can be shared - if not - understood). Remember it was always vague what was going on his original True Freshman year - he didn’t participate in many tourneys (went 9-2 across Wolfpack and Southeast Opens getting 5th in both) but then things went kind of silent. Things were always very vague and not talked about. I certainly hope(d) he is/was ok. He was pretty tough last year and did improve. Needs to work on building some offense. Would obviously love a return to that #1 ranking level for him! Pulling for you Connor! Re-capture that spark!
