He's tremendously engaging, we are excited to have the #1 recruiter (one pub), someone who is excited about recruiting, we think he can build a good staff with tons of P5 connections, he has connections to Virginia, 757, DMV, he's the epitome of a modern coach with media savvy, donor savvy, fan interaction, dynamic personality, hired by Fleck, Moorhead, Saban, and the NFL. He is the CEO type, we can likely afford him and pay his staff well potentially, He's the opposite of Fuente...Kind of like a breakup, after you leave one you look for the opposite. He's disciplined, well spoken, and impressive in almost every way. The only reason IMO he is not a slam dunk at all is his short HC track. Only 6-4 in a first season at a G5. But before we sh!t on G5, pretty sure we would all take Fickell. Huff has an IT factor that matches our culture (purely opinion) and I hope we take the swing. I remember Tomlin coming out of nowhere when the Steelers interviewed him, saying he "blew them away" I think this could be similar. I'm no expert just have a well read opinion and lots of life experience in leadership. Go ahead crush me guys...LOL. I respect all opinions here, even if you disagree...we are all Hokies!
