As much as pods are the buzz word


They do not work. The travel budgets are volatile and that is the real killer for the university but the "Who do we play this year?" reduces fan support and that is something the ACC can ill-afford. In the end, those boasting the benefits if pods are doing so not for some perceptual reason inherent to the pod system but because they are bored with the slate of games their team must trudge through each year. So, the real problem is not the divisional alignment; the real problem is that ACC football is dull and boring. I agree. Going to pods is not going to change that.
