I am genuinely curious what in the heck went down in that locker room that both Fu and JCP keep referencing this team going through so much adversity. We all heard Fu repeat it about Covid like what the VT team went through was so extraordinary. I would just expect this to be something exceptional, like a tornado in Tuscaloosa terrible. I know we had a few key injuries like Mitchell. And we lost our top two QBs in one game. And of course, Fu got canned. But we were favored in a few games and looked darn near incompetent. It wasn't just bad luck. Is this just coach speak or will someone, someday, spill the beans about why these guys think they are different than so many other college programs? I hope this loser talk ends with our next coach and we stop telling these guys they deserve a trophy. There are, of course, a few exceptions to our softness like BB - who deserves special recognition for saving our season.
