to a party in Roanoke. The road was a back road and dark. Never saw that black cow that stepped in front of my car. Messed up the car pretty bad. We hid our bottles in the brush until the cops left and then thumbed a ride back to school where we started a poker game with a couple of other Hokies in the dorm room. (Femoyer). I ran out of booze and money about the same time and hopped up on the top bunk and passed out. I awoke throwing up with the puke running down my neck. Lucky I didn't drown. Grabbed a towel and headed for the shower. Went across the hall where I knew one of the guys had gone home for the weekend and asked if I could use the other bunk. A couple of hours later I woke and felt the stomach ready for another round, so headed back across to my room and puked again in the sink. Looking back under my arm I remember thinking, Randy is gonna laugh at me for not holding my booze and what did I see? He had thrown up all over his bunk, the floor and my foot locker. Anyway, it happened again later when I had the dry heaves and I threw up a round brown hairy thing. I swallowed it back down, figured I might need it again sometime:) The rest of the day was just as bad. Went over to the Owens hall and stood in line for breakfast when I could. Mostly just looking for a chair to sit down. Couldn't eat much, but it helped. Went back to the room, rolled up the sheets and blanket and dropped them off at the laundry. Needless to say, I swore off drinking for at least a month after that.
