This guy is not the right guy for VT, but it will take a few years for that to become accepted. UNtil then, VT will do what it does best, throw down absolute love and loyalty, pump him up into the Second Coming and swear to all that listen that he was the guy they not only always wanted but deserved. Then the wheels will come off and they see him for what he is in a few years and the grumblings will start. Then a few 500 seasons and rinse and repeat.

This guys does not share the culture of VT. So, what he can recruit VA? Recruiting is nothing now with the portal. Working the portal is everything. There is more free-agency in the college world than there is in the NFL world. When a player is drafted in the NFL they are locked in for 5 years unless the team cuts them. In the college world there is no minimum limit. Recruit a great to day and he can leave tomorrow. Recruiting has change and that is this guys biggest quality.
