My 94 Toyota truck (Hilux) was killed when it was 14 years old...

...and it still ran and drove like new. It still had the original freon in the AC system that had come from Japan. If that semi hadn't killed it and a couple other vehicles, I would probably still be driving it today.

My 2008 Tacoma still drives almost like new. I can feel the bushings aren't quite as stiff as they were when it was new, but everything still works great. My only mechanical failure was a brake light bulb, so (knock on wood) I hope it continues to give me a very long service life. No plans to replace it anytime soon. It turns 14 in 2022, so keeping my fingers crossed it isn't killed by another vehicle next year.

When it dies, I'll probably buy another Tacoma.
