They had great plans for Tech women's soccer when they joined the team four years ago, but ACL injuries, Covid and a continued youth movement pretty much prevented the greatness they had hoped for the soccer program. Kozlova was a quality player and she'll be missed next season. Emily Gray was one of the best players to wear a Tech women's soccer uniform. I feel the same way about these two players as I do about football player James Mitchell. Injuries and Covid cut their time short at Tech. I feel that the program and fans were cheated in some way. I'm sure all three will graduate from Tech and I understand their goal of playing professionally. Like all Hokies, I wish all of the best going forward.
