Generator Oil to use question


I have an Briggs and Stratton Generator 8000W. The guy who services it uses a straight 30 Wt oil. I read that in low temps (less than 32) 30 Wt may be a little thick. I ran it for 4 straight days with the straight 30 with some really cold nights. What do you guys use?
