There are 2 fights going on ND-SEC vs ACC-B1G-PAC-B12, and G-5 vs P-5.

The ND-SEC coalition does not care how many games are played and they have no interest in sharing the power and money, they just want to build up as much as they can for those two entities. So expect them to want the playoff as big as they can get it.

The G-5 has no interest in preserving the traditions of the Rose Bowl or the traditional Bowl relationships. Where as the P5 is interested in preserving them. So is this the only answer for the P5, is to break off and create a 4th Division and create their own National Championship(s)? I think if they can’t preserve their traditional top tier bowl, they will do, just that.

Interesting times with many odd alliances happening.
