I sure wish they would have rescheduled. I'm sure they are happy with a free win and I get it as far as keeping to schedule. They will be ACC dual champs. We had nothing to gain putting out third stringers and they had nothing to gain by rescheduling, except tough competition before tournament season, which I thought would be enough. I thought they would have tried a Fri/Sun thing in the coming weeks. I was ready to bash Pop on this because he's our rival and not surprisingly from the cheating factory of Okie St. but it may have been at the AD level. As far as Trent, he is a clown, everyone knows it. I misspoke earlier saying he was batting .250 against VT. He's actually .200. 1-3 against Bolen and 0-1 v McFadden.
Big talk from a guy 1-4 against the Hokies. Everyone knows he's a punk...really?...scared at this level? I'm fairly certain starter v starter no one in either line up is scared. It is a great dual, perhaps the best in all of college wrestling from a close, meaningful, and competitive level. As I said earlier, too bad he's not like his brother...Hayden appears to be all class....brother followed after Hayden cleared the path. That is how it goes sometimes...one squared away, the other a punk, albeit a darn good wrestler. I will now be focussing on the Big10 duals tonight as a consolation prize. Hopefully the boys get healthy and can train hard soon...Pitt in 7 days.
