We have a neighborhood yard sale once a year

We go thru stuff and put it in a pile in driveway - no sorting/pricing, etc. - almost any offer is accepted.

Anything not sold does not come back inside - straight to Goodwill.

So yeah, its a pain, but treat it like getting paid a few bucks for cleaning out.
