My wife grew up in New York and her family follows Syracuse, so since tickets were cheap she wanted to go. I expected Pitt to be bad, but that was probably the worst I have ever seen any Syracuse team play. Cuse shot about 30% from the field and 20% from three. Pitt was not much better and was worse in the first half.

I am certain there is not a single NBA player on either roster. Buddy Boeheim is a nice shooter if he has space or had fresh legs, but this honestly looked like an above average high school game. Hardly any athleticism for Syracuse, tolerably little basketball skill for Pitt.

I went to a Utah State game when I visited my son around Thanksgiving and I think that team would beat either of these teams. I am having a hard time understanding why ACC teams are so mediocre right now.
