Michicken played the grand total of one non-conference true road game... they got destroyed at UNC.

Their entire case rests on the inflated perception of the BiG in the eyes of the almighty committee, which helped not only them but Indiana (another team with a marginal at best case to make the tourney).

Ask yourself this question... do you honestly believe that Virginia Tech or any school that's not a "brand name" would ever get a big dance invite with a 17-14 record? No matter who they played? A little more than 10 years ago, a 23 win VT team couldn't get in despite finishing in a tie for 3rd in the ACC (in a year when the league was strong- 7 teams in the dance and Dook won it all).
