Olympic Redshirt stuff

Also, even though Mekhi took the olympic shirt, it is not like a normal redshirt. He absolutely has 2 years of eligibility left which is up to him if he uses them. During the Olympic redshirt year he is not a full time student either and constantly trains to include at the OTC in Colorado, SERTC, and other training centers. So he did not accumulate any school credits at that time or minimal. Thus: 2018, student freshman, wrestler, redshirt fresh, 2019: student sophomore, wrestler RS freshman 2020 student not applied, wrestler in Olympic RS 2021: student junior, wrestler, free covid year. 2022: student senior, wrestler sophomore. 2023: student grad, wrestler junior. That is if Mekhi has fulfilled all credits and also did not do any classes during his olympic year which would be normal. Congrats on his finals appearance..best match of the night with 165 tied IMO. What a champion for VT on and off the mat. I am hoping we get at least one more year out of the young man.
