That was a brutally officiated game.


A phrase I really can't stand is "the officials are letting them play", which really means "the officials are not calling fouls".

There are rules governing the game for a reason. Just because one team decides to break those rules on literally every play, as Baylor did during its press, is no reason to throw up your hands and say "I can't call a foul on every play". Really? Why not? What better way to discourage that kind of fouling?

Side note: what is up with the athletic culture at Baylor? Considering the type of school it is, they sure seem to employ and recruit some questionable characters. And it spans multiple sports and multiple timeframes. You don't see that at similar institutions like Wake, Vandy, Richmond, BC, Villanova, etc.
