william floyd I think started it and I chimed in, most people don’t understand the demands and sacrifices these girls make to play this sport they love. Their on-field life that we all see is but a small fraction of what these girls are and do. This is really tough. I can’t imagine what her family, friends and teammates are going through. We need to make sure that athletic departments understand that these kids are not just a means to the next contract or the next round. These are kids. Not saying anything specific about JMU at all (I know several kids there) - just the mental health issue at large.
