We can't truly evaluate recruits until they hit the court - good or bad


A player considered "3 years away" won't be here in 3 years. The key will be how his talents fit in with the team after he gets here. We won't know this until he gets here.

There are a lot of 4-5 stars that wash out everywhere. 3 stars turn out to be 4 year players for the successful programs. You want the combination of 4-5 star that fits the program. Only problem, there aren't many of those out there that will come to VT.
