OK, I was wrong last night...

-initial post about Brogdon tripping Bibbs on ankle turn...I was wrong, Brogdon wasn't moving and Bibbs stepped on him...right no call
-I never said officials influenced outcome last night, because they didn't. Only things I had a problem with were 2 of the 3 Offensive fouls on LeDay and that Hudson, Bibbs, Allen, Wilson combined for 2 FTs (and Jalen missed those) A lot of that though was our fault for not either pulling up and shooting a J (Allen finally did and made one). I think those guys probably should've earned 4-6 more FTs max but that wouldn't have mattered. Also, it was a pretty consistent theme...the refs allowed us to guard their drives mostly...and their guards passed better with open men finishing...we DID NOT
-I thought both teams played pretty good on ball D, the difference was UVA handled the ball better, found open men when we focused on Brogdon & Perrantes, and unlike Bburg, their other guys, especially Wilkins and Tobey stepped up and made shots or other guys made the right read and cut to the basket.

Our guys need to get better at recognizing/reading defense's and setting up others for open shots when their path is taken away. We need some midrange production in the future from Bibbs, Allen, and especially big guys like Blackshear. I want to see us able to make 15 footers with our 4 & 5 guys like Wilkins and Tobey did. That to me (as well as finishing around the basket like we didn't do last night, but have at other times) is the key missing ingredient

I look forward to see what Robinson and Clarke can add down the stretch with hopefully Blackshear becoming more consistent too

I think I post more realistically outside of game time
