Brooks needs to leave JMU if he wants to reach higher NCAA Tourney rounds

He has been successful reaching the NIT and NCAA tournaments, but it will be hard for JMU to go past the first round in the NCAA. Not enough talent in a CAA level team. He can do better at an ACC school and I think Tech is capable of getting him there

Year by Year at JMU
Season, Record, CAA Tournament, Postseason
2002-03, 16-10, Semifinalist
2003-04, 13-18, Quarterfinalist
2004-05, 18-11, Semifinalist
2005-06, 24-7, Runner-up, WNIT First Round
2006-07, 27-6, Runner-up, NCAA First Round
2007-08, 24-10, Semifinalist, WNIT Third Round
2008-09, 24-10, Runner-up, WNIT Second Round
2009-10, 26-7, Champion, NCAA First Round
2010-11, 26-8, Champion, NCAA First Round
2011-12, 29-8, Semifinalist, WNIT Runner-up
2012-13, 25-11, Semifinalist, WNIT Fourth Round (Quarterfinals)
2013-14, 29-6, Champion, NCAA Second Round
2014-15, 29-4, Champion, NCAA First Round
