I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I never hear about


cheating in women's sports. I'm sure it happens, I just don't recall hearing about it.

I don't know if that leaves a team, like UConn, to get recruits without having other teams "paying" for them. But once you have a juggernaut of a team, and don't have to worry about how much or how far "Team X" is willing to go, the best of the best want to, and will, come play for you.

Then again, I'm probably pissing into the wind.
