Perhaps you're confusing an "is" with an "ought."


Can you provide an actual justification for why coaches can leave whenever they want and coach the following season but players must sit out a year?

Just saying that playing and coaching are different isn't a justification. Why do you believe players should have to sit out a year if they transfer but coaches shouldn't?
