VT men actually finished next to last, but your point is well taken.


Good tournament for Joey Lane who finished 7th overall, but just not a lot of depth after Vincent and Cone graduated last year. Hardwick has been a good coach for a long time, but I wonder how much longer until he retires. I couldn't believe it when I looked it up and saw he's been coaching at VT since 1983 and that he's almost 67 - he looks 20 years younger. Also looks like they've signed a pretty good class for next year too. Hopefully they can get back to NCAA tourney level quickly.
