Numerous folks have suggested this won't be a true network at all.
IMO, it's simply going to be a logo that spreads ACC games across already existing channels. I actually think this is intended to prevent breaking of the rules of the GOR more than anything. You don't see that?
So yes, I'm standing by my claims that the ACC will not likely have a 24/7 channel, or as the rest of the world refers to it, a network.
And do you not think that the ACC's having been behind the other leagues financially has hurt? Look at athletics department budgets the last 5 years. It hurts in this arms race for our schools to be so far behind. It's hurt VT a ton. You don't think VT wouldn't like to be working with Tennessee's budget? Ask Babcock.
Yes, Duke basketball and FSU football are doing just fine, but their other sports could certainly use some love. FSU is $27 million dollars behind Florida despite $6 million more in student subsidies and a recent Natty. Clemson is $30 million behind the Gamecocks despite much more recent football success too.

Damage has been done. Have a beer with the Clemson AD and I can gaurantee you he would tell you so. The school presidents would too. Notice how most of these SEC and B1G programs are less reliant upon subsidies and are giving more cash back to the schools?
