To change the narrative: Ideas? How does an athletic department generate

more income/scholarship money without relying on private individual donations?

Just for fun who has some ideas to further increase our athletic income without the burden falling on donors?

My couple of ideas...

Design our renovations / new athletic spaces with research in mind. The new performing arts structure (not sure of name but old Schultz) has performance spaces designed with movable walls ceilings etc to study acoustics and theoretically companies pay for the opportunity to test their designs. There could possibly be some way to design our facility renovations with this in mind? I.E. variable outfield fences in baseball, ways to switch in and out new forms of turf for testing, partner with food service companies to utilize our concessions venues as test areas for their national programs.

More corporate sponsorship? I'm honestly surprised there are not more corporately endowed scholarships to be allowed the "privilege" of recruiting on campus.

Other than that anyone have ideas??

Even implementing a ton of small things they could never replace donations outside of making tickets some exorbitant amount face value.

Your Whit think outside the box....
