Makes sense. The B12 has serious limitations and LHN keeps Texas there...


As I've always said, I'd love to see Texas join the ACC and bring a 4 surrounding schools (let's say OK, Kansas, OSU, Houston). Get the ACC to 20 teams so VT can play a few local teams every year (eg: UVA, NC STATE, LOUISVILLE, PITT) and then rotate 5 other teams every 3 years. How could you not love this schedule:

Year 1: UVA, NCSU, LOUISVILLE, PITT, SYRACUSE, CLEMSON, TEXAS, WF, KANSAS

Year 2: UVA, NCSU, LOUISVILLE, PITT, MIAMI, BC, ND, DUKE, OKLAHOMA

Year 3: UVA, NCSU, LOUISVILLE, PITT, FSU, HOUSTON, OSU, UNC, GT
