Good way to start your morning......

Got pulled over for speeding. Cop comes back after I give him my license and registration to ask if I knew my license was suspended. He tells me it's been suspended since August and he is supposed to arrest me. Writes a ticket for the license and keeps my license and says that technically if I get caught driving it's an automatic arrest. Tells me to wait till he's out of visual and drive safely to the DMV to get it fiexd. Thanks nice cop, not thanks to DMV.
