I saw her play via computer. She looked tentative and unsure.

I believe it was a confidence/maturity issue. She came in as a top 40 recruit (#33 I think). I do not know about the level of competition she faced in HS. I assumed she needed a year to prepare for college play. That would not be surprising. See Eric Green from the men's team when recruited by Seth. His contribution level seemed questionable when he was a FR. He was All American level when he left. Sometimes it takes time.
