Swofford said the league spent a "significant" amount of time discussing a future ACC Network during the spring meetings but did not provide a timeline or update on launch date. "There's not a whole lot we can say or will say until we reach a definitive point," Swofford said.

Swofford did not comment when asked about a report ESPN would have to pay the ACC $45 million if a TV network is not in place by July.
