I occasionally browse some Big 10 and Pac 12 school message boards and they all have difference of opinions on how their conferences stack up academically.

I often hear about ACC academic superiority here and other ACC boards and Big 10 academic superiority on their boards. Sometimes I even see it on some Pac 12 boards, so I decided to see who was telling the truth. As it turns out, the ACC is ranked #1 nationally (USN&WR) and Forbes) among the Power 5 conferences but the Big 10 is #1 in reseach and in world reputation. The Pac 12 has a better reputation outside the US. than the ACC.
