Both of JMU's star pitchers are not only Virginians


But from very small high schools. Angela was also from a very rural area. I'm sure this makes recruiting players like these challenging because while their high school numbers are stellar, the level of competition is often questionable. You really have to know what you're looking at.

JMU's run over the last few years has been incredible. Tech never hosted a regional when we had Angela, and the Dukes have hosted 2 years in a row now. While Florida and the west coast are still recruiting hotbeds, JMU has proven you can put together a top notch team with local recruits and quality coaching.
