The best players from rural communities play travel ball now


A young lady from my area is the starting CF for Arizona. She's batting .361 with 11 HR's and 34 RBI's in 34 of the 38 games she's played this season. She attended a school that graduates about 20 students a year. One of her team mates from that small private school plays for JMU. She has started every game this season and went 3 for 3 vs. UNC. They both come from towns wiith less than 2,000 residents.
