Only refers to injuries during competition, but I couldn't find any other articles. Doesn't answer your question, but thought I'd share anyway. FWIW, I think it's a great question. There's just not much data out there on the subject specifically -- at least not that's easy to find. I'm not an orthopedist; maybe someone on here is and can comment on any research they know of comparing bone/joint strength/injury-rates by ethnic origin.
