I drive by her field daily and most of the time you will find her working with a player individually. Hitting mostly but sometimes fielding ground balls.

Kathy is a no nonsense type coach and played the game herself at a very high level. She is in the ECU athletic hall of fame for two sports including basketball. So she is aggressive with her base runners and uses the small ball game plan when it is appropriate. Always seems to have at least two pitchers and doesn't hesitate to switch them during the game.

Nice facilities and located in the center of Virginia. Has solid support from the community as well.
