As a recently graduated student, absolutely not. Sure, the national championship might happen, but there's something to being an institution above the fray. There are schools that have enjoyed national success but are tainted due to recruiting violations, player conduct issues, etc.

I think that was one of Beamer's biggest qualities as a coach and leader of the program. Not only did he achieve a lot at Tech, he also did it in a classy way with integrity.
