Just makes Baylor even less attractive to the Pac 12 and SEC for next round

Of the four Big 12 schools in Texas, Baylor's prospects of finding a landing spot in the event the conference breaks up are undoubtedly the worst. Texas is Texas. TCU is in the Dallas-Fort Worth market which has lots of advantages. And while Texas Tech is not very attractive on its own, it has the hope of tagging along after Texas so long as Texas does not join the Big Ten.

Baylor has been competitive lately but not over the very long haul. Its strong religious affiliation is unattractive to the Pac 12 particularly, when compared to alternatives. And Baylor's history of deep, dark scandal - which includes a murder involving the basketball program not so long ago - is a black mark.
