Remember too a lot of big 12 games on fs1
I say that because you lose viewers because they do not have the TV sets by and large. If you notice there are none on fs1 in the ratings. It will be interesting to see if not being on ESPN winds up hurting the big ten. In many ways they have to build that eyeball base.
I would like to see a way that a non big ten state gives a conference they don't root any big ten channel money. Only in its home state do they get on basic packages. Today the gap exists because they get money even money from acc sec big 12 and pac 12 fans. Same thing finding out part of my money for my tv package goes to al jeezera who I would never watch. You wind up supporting organizations that hurt things you care about such as a revenue imbalance or a coverage imbalance. It is just wrong.
