Looking at these, I'm not sure. Looks like UVa has the better rankings

and they suck. Top 75 last 4 years. VT twice and JMU nowhere.

I wonder this. While VT and UVa are in the ACC, perhaps the other in state schools can pitch an easier run to the tourney. and while I'm not ready to fully blame coaching, that certainly may be a factor.
