Pro golf watch 6/2 - 6/5

the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village is up this week for Wagner, de Jonge and the PGA Tour. Wagner is up to 113rd in the FedEx Cup Standings after a T34 finish last week. Another missed cut for de Jonge drops him to 144th. Hasn't finished better than T51 in his last 15 starts, after what was actually a pretty solid start to his season. I'm sure he'll break out of it at some point, just not sure if it'll happen in time to get back into the top 125 by end of season.

Drew Weaver moved up a handful of spots on the WCT priority rankings after the latest reshuffle, which may be just enough to get him some more starts in the upcoming weeks. Not a bad week to make the field as he'll tee it up in Punta Cana. He debuts on the money list in the 168th spot.

Jurrian van der Vaart fell a few spots on the ECT money list, now in 24th after at T33 finish last week. The ECT is in Switzerland this week.

Scott Vincent finished T8 last week so he is off to a good start to the Mackenzie Tour season. Weaver finished T38 while Trevor Cone and Blake Redmond both missed the cut. Vincent, Cone and Redmond are all in the field this week for the 2nd tournament of the season.

And US Open sectional qualifying takes place on Monday. JW, SV and Joey Lane are set to participate at various sites across the country. I didn't see any sign of BDJ, so he must be sitting it out this year.

Go Hokies!
