The Irish always seem to put together good schedules...


Take a look at 2015.

As for recruits passing on the Irish because a lack of a 'clear path to a playoff', that might happen if independence is an absolute bar to a playoff, but not before. Georgia's path is far more difficult and they stay in the top ten in recruiting. Miami recruits too and they haven't even made it to the ACCCG. Speculation needs to be supported by evidence and there is none of that yet.

I could be wrong but it seems like recruits like the idea of playing a big name national schedule with every game televised at good times. Slogging into Wake, Syracuse, and Pitt on a regular basis is NOT compelling.
