Baylor 2014 had a terrible OOC. They were not top 4 in old BCS formula


when applied. Saying Baylor 2014 = ND at 11-1 regardless of their schedule is not correct, IMO. Yes, Ohio State's 13th game gave them the needed to boost. But we have yet to see a team with a strong 12 game schedule and be top 4 by any measure get jumped by a conference champion with a lesser resume. Ohio State had a better resume than Baylor. 13th game is an additional data point which is an advantage and people have given lip service to conference champions. But we yet to see a legit top 4 team get bumped by someone with a lesser resume and it is a self-serving conclusion for anyone to say 11-1 ND will never get in over a 12-1 conference champion regardless of schedule. Number of games doesn't matter when you have a poor OOC while someone like ND has one of the most aggressive schedules in the nation.
