It ended up averaging about $6.50 per pound ...


which isn't fantastic considering about 40 lbs of it is ground beef but it is Angus with no chemicals or any of that junk. I ended up with about 15 steaks (sirloins, T-bones, porterhouse, and round) and 7 roasts (including one nice prime rib) in addition to the ground beef.

I split a half cow with a buddy - next time we are splitting a full cow and the price drops considerably when you do that.
