I don't fully support the "old guard" argument.


Yes, they are the original members. But if they had enough pedigree, they wouldn't have needed to expand.

FSU and the former Big East schools has enough pedigree.

I just like the idea of splitting up Clemson and FSU. They have the biggest fan bases and are more of a national draw than any other program. I also get tired of not playing either of these two on a regular basis.

The old ACC vs. new ACC isn't my first choice of plans, but I consider it an upgrade.
