Technology is great when it works, but what happens when an overseas
customer service call is needed, and there is a wait time? I am being coy here, but what if communications fails on those rare occasions. This could be like your QB going down. I would think modern day coaches would be good at disguising their sideline signals, and even sending out misleading signals if it is felt opponents have decoded their messages, or they want to mislead.
