We used to play and prepare w/a chip on our shoulder. That's long gone.

Not that our teams haven't played hard the last few years. We just didn't have that edge. Anyone you would talk to through the mid 90's to at least the mid '00's would tell you that VT was the toughest team they played all year. VT was Michigan State before Michigan State became who they are. That's not the case now. I hope that will change with the new staff.
